One Month Anniversary

Well today is the 1 month anniversary of our LID at the CCAA. We are happy we are actually waiting, but a referral seems so far away. What will we do to pass the time? I have lots of things I want to do before the baby, but I'd rather have the baby already. Oh well we will just have to wait patiently until it is our time. Just a few weeks of summer left and school will be starting again and we will be busy with school, homework and soccer and everything else. Troy will be busy with school also and I will be doing a lot of volunteer work. Then before you know it the holiday season will be here and hopefully it will be the last Christmas that we are a family of four! Then the new year! Hopefully the year we will receive a referral! I can only hope in the summer next year we will see the little face of our new child that we have been so anxiously waiting for. We will get to take the trip of our lifetime to meet our little angel. The anticipation is very difficult, but I'm sure nothing compared to the early beginnings of our daughter. I will spend the next year thinking about her and dreaming of the day we get to bring her home!

Can you see?

Alright, I know my son needs these to see, but do you really think these are helping?

Perfect Saturday

A more perfect Saturday afternoon?
I think not, what a great Saturday afternoon in July. Sitting across the street from the coast, cold beer and an Astros game, oh yea and my family! The Stros even won, now that is a great day!

Woohoo, this is just to exciting!! We now are officially on China's time waiting for our precious baby!!

Go Stros!!

GO STROS!!
On Friday we went to our first Astros game and the boys loved it!! To tell you the truth I really enjoyed it too, althought the Astros lost it was still a great time! We have waited to go til the boys would really enjoy the game and I'm glad we did because the boys really got into the game and understood what was going on. C was so cute he kept calling the Cardinals 'the birds,' whay a hoot he is. Z kept getting very frustrated when the folks in front of us would stand in his way so he couldn't see the game. The bonus was the fireworks after the game since we didn't get to see any July 4th due to rain. Good time, can't wait to go again!
