Countdown to TA can begin!

Our Letter Of Intent (LOI) has been recieved by the CCAA and now we just wait for Travel Approval (TA). Our agency says we may recieve it within 2-3 months. The sooner the better! There is so much stuff we need to do to get ready, and a whole new set of paperwork has to be rounded up. I have been reading tons of packing lists and revising one of my own to meet our needs with the time of travel. We hope to travel by the end of December, best case scenario. So keep your fingers crossed! One might say I am obsessed with getting our Ying Ying home!

We have decided on a name. Fu Bao Ying will become Gracie Mae Ying!

We think we may have found some pictures of Ying Ying here. This is a photo album of children at the Fuling SWI in June 2006. We think she is in photo #35 and #44, but we are not 100%sure. If this is our girl, we sure think she is awful cute! These photos were taken by a group of parents who have adopted children from Fuling SWI and are now giving back to their children's first home. They have started a program called First Hugs. You can read about it here. Hopefully Ying Ying is involved in this program. They are currently raising money to fund the program for next year. What a great program!
