We're Going to China!!!!

Ok, what a busy day! Not that I mind. We received confirmation of a Jan 25th Consulate Appointment today which means we are leaving Friday! Holy Cow, so much to do. It's funny how we waited and waited and now we have to go, go, go! Here is a rough draft of our itinerary:

1/12 - Fly to Beijing

1/13 - Arrive in Beijing

1/14 - 1/16 Tour Beijing

1/16 Fly to Chongqing

1/17 Gotcha Day! Oh Baby!

1/18- 1/24 Complete paperwork and

get to know Gracie Mae

1/24 Fly to Guangzhou Gracie's medical exam

1/25 Consulate Appointment

1/26 Swearing in ceremony

1/27 Fly home

So next Wednesday Gracie Mae Ying will be placed in our arms. We are so very excited and nervous all at the same time, but just can't wait to get on that plane Friday and get to or little girl! We want to invite everyone to follow our journey to China and back. We have heard that blogger can be difficult to use in China so we have decided to use another website for our trip.

A Very Happy New Year!!

We have had the best start to the New Year!! We received the phone call we have been waiting so long for! We have received Travel Approval (TA) from China to come and get Ying Ying!! We are so very excited!! We are now waiting on confirmation of our Consulate Appointment (CA). Once we have that we can start planning our trip! Our agency is requesting a CA for January 25th. If we get that appointment we will be looking at leaving in 10 or so days! WoooHooo, lets go!! I can't wait to squeeze that girl and kiss her from head to toe!!
