One Year Ago...

today we made our first trip to our adoption agency. We signed a contract and started the adoption process. Look at us now we are a family of five with two handsome boys and a precious, beautiful girl! We are so fortunate and blessed! We have had Gracie Mae for just over a month. It was a very long process with many papers to chase and lots and lots of waiting, but so worth every single bit of it! Would we do it again? You bet, in a heart beat! She is just an amazing little girl who has filled the empty space in our family and we couldn't be in a better place! We certainly are a bit busier with three children, but loving almost every minute of it, minus some sleepless nights! Wow, what a difference a year can make!

Happy Girl!

Have you ever seen a cuter girl? I sure haven't! Gracie Mae is such a joy! Her smile is contagious! We have been home just over two weeks and Gracie is adjusting beautifully! We have a few small issues, but we are working through them. She is just so much fun and the boys are loving being big brothers to a baby sister! They are certainly proud of her and like to show her off to their friends at school! She is definitely a mamma's girl, but I really don't mind! I like to steal a snuggle and a kiss whenever I can! We can't wait for everyone to meet Gracie Mae, and I just know she will instantly melt your hearts just as she has melted ours! We are so in love and so happy to be a family of five, even though we need a bigger car!
